Program Terms and Conditions:

Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. ET on September 1, 2020, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2020, or when the maximum US$4,000,000 donation goal is reached, whichever comes first (“Promotion Period”). Qualifying purchases can only be made at or from a qualifying U.S. Restaurant, U.S. Drug Store, U.S. Grocery Store, or U.S. Transportation. U.S. Transportation is defined as suburban and local commuter passenger, which includes ferries and transportation methods as further defined in its Merchant Category Code (described here and throughout as “Transit”). U.S. Transit does not include rideshare programs and apps. U.S. Restaurant, U.S. Drug Store, U.S. Grocery Store, and U.S. Transit qualification will each be determined and defined by the applicable Mastercard Merchant Category Code. A Merchant Category Code is used to classify a business by the types of goods or services it provides. Debit PIN and International transactions are ineligible.

For each qualifying and reported U.S. Restaurant, U.S. Drug Store, U.S. Grocery Store, or U.S. Transit purchase made with a U.S.-issued Mastercard as either a contactless or an e-commerce (online) transaction, as defined by the applicable Mastercard Merchant Category Code, a one cent (US$0.01) donation will be made by Mastercard to Stand Up To Cancer, up to the maximum US$4,000,000 donation goal.

Contactless-enabled Mastercards are accepted at participating U.S. locations that have contactless enabled at checkout. Visit mastercard.com/tapandgolocator for more details. Mastercard relies on third parties to classify a transaction. In the event that a qualifying contactless transaction is not classified as a contactless transaction or under a qualifying Mastercard Merchant Category Code by a third party and reported to Mastercard, but would otherwise have been a qualifying transaction, the transaction will not count as a qualifying transaction nor be eligible for the one cent (US$0.01) donation by Mastercard to Stand Up To Cancer.

Mastercard may suspend or terminate this promotion at any time in its sole discretion.
