The IRS uses your tax return to check your eligibility for a stimulus payment and preferred method of payment. Even if you don’t normally need to file a tax return, you will need to do so and complete Line 30 with the amount you were owed from previous stimulus payments.
Most providers will make this available through their website or mobile app. Just log in and go to your account or profile settings to find this information.
