Are you cyber ready?

Here are some helpful tips, best practices and resources.

1. Mastercard Cyber Secure provides Mastercard acquirers with access to cyber risk assessments of the public-facing internet properties of the merchants for whom they acquire transactions at various levels of detail depending on whether an account data compromise event is active. Merchants may request a copy of this assessment from their acquirer or from Mastercard by sending a request to cybersecure@mastercard.com. Mastercard honors internet standards such as robots.txt and applicable cybersecurity laws when collecting this information.

2. Free trial of Mastercard ID Theft Protection is available through December 31, 2020, to small businesses eligible for the Small Business Administration (SBA.gov) Payroll Protection Program who are not currently Mastercard cardholders. Mastercard ID Theft Protection is provided by Generali Global Assistance, Inc. Terms, conditions and exclusions apply. See https://mastercardus.idprotectiononline.com/enrollment/embedded.html. Upon completion of the trial, you can continue to receive Mastercard ID Theft Protection at no additional cost if you become a Mastercard cardholder. Existing cardholders can review their Guide to Benefits for details or call 1-800-MASTERCARD.
