The New Orleans Business Alliance

The New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) was formed in 2010, through a coalition of business and civic leaders to employ the best practices in economic development, positioning New Orleans as the ideal intersection of commerce and culture.

One of fewer than 80 Accredited Economic Development Organizations worldwide, the New Orleans Business Alliance is engaged in the official public-private partnership, created to increase economic gains for the city of New Orleans. Through this direct partnership with the city, and strong connectivity with the local business community, NOLABA’s efforts support economic security for all New Orleanians by diversifying the local economy, developing a well-prepared workforce and expanding entrepreneurial opportunity. Through an inclusive economic development strategy, NOLABA works to create a more equitable and prosperous future for all citizens, demonstrating that New Orleans is among the best American cities for business investment, inclusive economic opportunity and overall quality of life.
